Send an electronic notice
Email support@novasean.com with the subject “Illegal content notice”. This channel is available to any person or organisation; a customer account is not required. You may write in Dutch or English. For immediate danger, contact the relevant emergency services as well; this mailbox is not an emergency dispatch service.
If the issue is a vulnerability rather than illegal content, use Report a security concern.
What to include
- Explain why you consider the specific information illegal. Identify the relevant law or facts where you can.
- Give the exact electronic location: the full URL, and any additional information needed to identify the item on the service. For a server issue without a public URL, include the relevant IP address, time and a precise description.
- Give your name and email address so we can acknowledge and respond, except for notices concerning offences referred to in Articles 3–7 of Directive 2011/93/EU, for which those details are not required. You can submit such a notice without including your name or a reply address in the notice; an email service may still transmit sender metadata. Do not attach or redistribute illegal imagery.
- State: “I believe in good faith that the information and allegations in this notice are accurate and complete.”
Include only evidence necessary to locate and assess the content. Do not send passwords, unrelated personal records or sensitive material. Ask for an appropriate secure route if necessary. Do not use this process to make deliberately false reports.
How a notice should be handled
Where electronic contact details are provided, receipt and the decision must be communicated without undue delay. Notices must be assessed in a timely, diligent, objective and non-arbitrary way. The decision must explain available redress and any use of automated means in processing or deciding the notice. An incomplete notice may require clarification; submitting a notice does not automatically establish illegality or require removal.
If content or a service is restricted, the affected recipient must receive the reasons required by the DSA. The content policy describes the decision criteria and available measures. You can request human review through complaints and redress. Statutory remedies and a complaint to the competent Digital Services Coordinator remain available.
Personal information in a notice
Novasean uses the report and contact information to investigate, communicate the result and meet applicable legal duties. Only information necessary for that purpose should be shared with the affected party or authorities. A report is not automatically confidential against every lawful disclosure. See the privacy statement for rights and retention criteria.
